Let’s Go to the Museum! Writing Challenge
That’s why we have the Museum, Matty, to remind us of how we came, and why: to start fresh, and begin a new place from what we had learned and carried from the old.
What is a Museum?
A place or building where objects of historical, artistic, or scientific interest are exhibited, preserved, or studied. Cambridge.org
The purpose of a museum is to collect, preserve, interpret, and display objects of artistic, cultural, or scientific significance for the study and education of the public. Wikipedia
A Museum is an institution dedicated to preserving and interpreting the primary tangible evidence of humankind and the environment.
For this challenge, you will write an original poem, blog post or brief story using a prompt of a painting, sculpture, drawing, photography or art exhibit which I’ll provide. Post your poem/story on your own blog and link back to my blog. Read and comment on others’ writing. Get feedback. Have fun. Watch for my next post.

Hi Kay, These are just logistical questions. Is the girl on the bench your widget or identifying badge, or is she the topic for this challenge? How often are you hosting the challenge? This is what I have for your spot on the Challenge Page. Let’s Go to the Museum Writing Challenge

Hi Marsha, I’m trying to make a badge. I don’t know how to do it so I have to learn! The girl on the bench is just a picture I like! I may use it soon. As soon as I get the badge up, I’ll let you know. I’ll begin the challenge next week. It will be weekly on Wednesdays.

Kay, do you want me to make a badge for you?
